Happy 3rd Birthday To Meredith!

Today is Meredith's 3rd B/D. She sat on her favourite "swing swing" before going to school.

To make her happy, we took a bus to school instead of driving as she likes to take bus and MRT.

After school, her friends + mummies, we went to Square 2 for lunch followed by game centre and dessert at Anderson Ice cream.

After which, we took MRT home. Today, her wish came true, took bus and also MRT.

Thanks Aimee, Helen and Kim for your company today. Eugene, we missed you!

My New Compaq Presario V3000

Ah Wee had an extra laptop since he re-contracted his starhub. Decided to buy from him as my old HP desktop will be dead soon.

Yesterday, Meredith played the games from Sesame Street and offered to shut down the laptop for me. Well, I agreed and guided her since she can handle the mouse now quite well.

Instead of clicking on shut down, she accidentally clicked on "hibernate" and the screen was gone. At that moment, I was shocked and had raised my voice on her. Tried to press on the power button but it does not work. Meredith moved and clicked on the mouse and then .... the screen is back. Guess what she told me, "there... came back already.

Afterwhich, I shut down the laptop and she said again, "see, shut down already" and gave me a snobbishly look. Eugene, our Meredith has grown up.

Barbie B/D Cake for Meredith

Celebrated Meredith's b/d yesterday. She is 3 years old now, time files. As usual, she chose her own b/d cake.

Ah yong and ah wee jiu ju, thanks for the barbie doll b/d cake.

Besides all the relatives, her 3 classmates, Ian, Nat and Crystal joined us too.

Teacher's Day Celebration at Zoo-phonic School

Meredith and her classmates celebrated Teacher's Day on 31 August. Parents were asked to contribute food and drinks for the celebration.

Helen bought a Pooh cake, Aimee fried nuggets & hashbrown, Kim bought panda biscuits, Georgina bought ice-cream and I bought popper juices. There were cupcakes, jellies, cookies from other parents too.

As usual, the kids were all very happy and enjoyed the party including the mummies.

Managed to sell away my Gucci Large Messenger bag via yahoo auction last Thu. Posted for about 2 months. Sold at $950, bought at $1400, a loss of $450.

Compared to selling to second hand shop which I can only get back $700, this was considered very good price.

Reminder to Rebecca, never buy "expensive" bag impulsively.
