This year, instead of having our usual breakfast for Father's Day celebration, we had an early dinner at Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant located at Blk 115 Jalan Bukit Merah.
The restaurant has been around for more than 10 years according to my dad. However, we have not been there before. Every weekend on our way back home from my dad's house, we see many cars queueing along the side road waiting for parking lots. Looks like the food there must be good, so I suggested dinner there.
There is no menu provided, you have to order the food at the counter where they displayed them. We ordered 7 dishes (as seen in the picture), crispy cereal prawn, chili crab, vegetable, fish maw soup, duck, minced prawn ball and yam basket. The food was normal, not as tasty as we expected and was over priced for the quality. We had a bill of $211.80.
This will be our first and last time dining in that restaurant as we have "placed a big tiger" there (term used in hokkien).
